Working Student Sustainability Communications (f/m/d). 

In this role, you will support the Group Sustainability team in driving effective communication around our sustainability efforts. You will play a key role in developing and coordinating materials, monitoring regulatory developments, and managing our communication channels, all while contributing to projects that advance our sustainability agenda and impact across the organization.


Your responsibilities

  • Impact: You actively support the creation of our NKG Sustainability Report by gathering key information and ensuring the communication is accurate, compelling, and visually appealing.
  • Ownership: Take charge of coordinating our regular department newsletter, managing content creation, and ensuring a consistent message for our target audiences.
  • Creativity: Contribute to the development and upkeep of communication materials related to our sustainability efforts, including presentations, training materials, and content for our intranet site.
  • Communication: You help manage our key communication channels, including the email inbox and social media posts, ensuring smooth and professional interactions with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Approach: You assist the team in developing a communication strategy for our sustainability topics, ensuring clear and impactful internal and external communication. 
  • Regulatory Awareness: You monitor relevant legal developments, such as the Green Claims Directive, and support the team in ensuring compliance is integrated into our communication efforts. 
  • Flexibility: You contribute to various projects, supporting the team in advancing our sustainability agenda. 

Your profile

  • Education: You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Sustainability Management, Communications, Marketing (Business Administration), Media Studies, or a similar field.
  • Background: You have gained initial practical experience in communication, ideally through internships or working student positions. An interest in sustainability topics is a plus, allowing you to bring your passion for this area into your work.
  • Soft skills: You are a strong communicator and a creative thinker who enjoys contributing innovative ideas. You thrive when working with text and design, always keeping a keen eye for detail. You are also comfortable working with data and numbers.
  • Internationality: You demonstrate strong intercultural skills and are fluent in English, as you will be part of an international team working entirely in English. Spanish is a strong plus.
  • MS Office: You have a good command of the MS Office package.
